July 7, 2014 – Mumbai, India – Dorf Ketal Chemicals India (P) Ltd. has announced expanded accreditation of its quality, health, safety and environmental policies under the auspices of the International Council of Chemical Associations and the Indian Chemical Council (ICC).  Dorf Ketal is one of just 28 ICC-member chemical companies in India that is qualified to do so. 

Responsible Care^® recognizes qualified chemical companies for their commitment to ethical performance that “increasingly benefits society, the economy and the environment” through safe, secure, environmentally sound manufacturing, use and transport of chemical products. 

Dorf Ketal’s North American operations were certified under Responsible Care^{® i}n October, 2008.  Since that time the firm has strengthened and expanded its Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental (QHSSE) Policy worldwide through leadership development and implementation of world-class practices and procedures. Dorf Ketal’s integrated QHSSE management system includes research & development, manufacturing and supply chain activities for all of the firm’s specialty chemicals and catalysts through the complete product life cycle. Other Dorf Ketal certifications include RCMS, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
