October 26th, 2021, Mumbai: Trentar Pvt. Ltd. announced one of the most significant acquisitions alongside a controlling stake with One of India's most innovative startup in the UAV propulsion system sector, Trishula.

This acquisition will focus on making India independent and self-sufficient in the UAV propulsion systems, a long-standing agenda for the Indian UAV industry. It will also help put India on the World map of Propulsion systems.

Trentar had recently acquired GarudaUAV, a leading Drone based services and platform company and also launched the Drone Manufacturing Division with its own VTOL UAV due for release early 2022. Trentar had earlier committed to invest Rs. 100 Cr in 3 years to design and build specialized Drones for the Defence and Civil purposes along with Indigenously built subsystems.

September 16th, 2021, Dammam - Dorf Ketal Chemicals India Pvt Ltd. (Mumbai-400064, Maharashtra, India), have entered into a Joint Venture (JV) agreement with TriBonds Chemical Co. (Dammam, 2^nd industrial city, KSA).

This venture, Dorf ketal-TriBonds will cater to the ever growing demand for specialty chemicals in Hydrocarbon & water industries. The JV was finalized amidst the pandemic to prepare for increased focus in the KSA markets for both the participants.

This new JV, will leverage complementary strengths to meet the growing industry demands, bringing in innovations to critical applications such as; Drag Reducing Agents for pipeline applications, Clean Fuels, Coke retarders for the petrochemical industry, Green Retarders for Styrene production with water treatment in a region where water conservation becomes ever more critical. It is noteworthy to mention that all these technologies will increase sustainability offerings to the chemical industry. The new JV will actively participate in the Kingdoms’ 2030 vision by increasing the local raw materials content and creating local employment opportunities. Technology localization will enhance workforce development, aligning with Saudi Aramco’s In-Kingdom Total Value Add program (IKTVA).

August 9th, 2021, Mumbai - Trentar, a unit of Dorf Ketal Chemicals, has launched its unmanned aerial vehicle manufacturing division, days after it acquired GarudaUAV, a Noida-based drone services and platform company. The company now intends to create an entire drone ecosystem under one roof. It has appointed Dhruv Arora, who has been associated with the UAV industry for the past 18 years, as its Chief Executive Officer.
